# County & rating area lookup

Your county decides your **rating area**, the group of counties insurers use to price marketplace plans. Type your county to see your rating area, your local guide, and where to get free enrollment help.

_(Interactive tool; open the web page to use it.)_

## What changes by county, and what doesn't

**Changes by county:** which insurers sell plans, the base prices, which doctors and hospitals are in network, and whether in-person Navigator help is nearby.

**Same statewide:** open enrollment dates, tax credit rules, TennCare and CoverKids rules, and ACA protections like guaranteed issue.
